Antique Cradle Tutorial
This was made with PSP 8, but can be done in earlier versions. This tutorial is quite easy.
All you will need is the
cradle file.

If you aren't familiar with using the Colour Pallette for patterns, there is a short explanation here

1. Open the cradlealpha.psp file you downloaded. Click on the Rockers layer and get the Rocker selection by going to:
Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load from Selection from Alpha Channel
Click on the Rocker selection and then on Load
(You can get all the selections this way.)
Flood-fill
with the Finished Wood pattern, Scale 50, Angle 0.
2. Bottom - Flood-fill the selection the same way, and then to go:
Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Brightness/Contrast
Brightness minus 60, Contrast 0.
3. Left Side - Flood-fill with the Finished Wood pattern, changing the Angle to 155.
4. Back - Flood-fill, changing the Angle to 112. Then darken by changing the Brightness to
minus 30, as we did in Step 2.
5. Roof Left - Flood-fill, changing the Angle to 15. Darken by
minus 30 again.
6. Left Side Edge - Flood-fill and darken -30, twice.
7. Blanket - Flood-fill with any colour you like.
8. Design - Flood-fill with any colour you like. Then go to:
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
V & H 1, Opacity 50, Blur 1, Colour black.
9. Pillow - Flood-fill with the colour you want and then go to:
Selections - Invert
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
V & H 0, Opacity 50, Blur 25, Colour #404040.
10. Front - Flood-fill with the same Angle you used the last time.
11. Right Side - Flood-fill, changing the Angle to 155.
12. Edges - Flood-fill and darken by - 30, twice.
13. Roof - Flood-fill, Angle 0.
14. Roof Edge - Flood-fill and go to:
Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel- Preset Angled.
That's it! You're all done. I hope you like your cradle.
