Cache Pot Tutorial

Directions for this tutorial are given for PSP 7 and PSP 8. This tutorial is quite easy and short.

All you will need is the cachepot.zip file which contains the Alpha Channel selections and a tube or image for the decoration, and a tube or image for filling the cachepot. If you would like the strawberry pattern shown, there is a link to the tutorial for the pattern below.

1. Open the cachepotalpha.psp file you downloaded. Click on the Handles layer and go to:

Selections - Load from Alpha Channel - 01handles
Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Alpha Channel - 01handles
Flood-fill with #C0C0C0 Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel - Use the Frame Preset


2. Click on the Rings layer. Get 02rings. Flood-fill with #C0C0C0 again, and use the same Inner Bevel.

3. Click on the Back layer and get 03back. Flood-fill with black, or the colour of your choice.

4. Click on the Back Rim layer and get 04backrim. Flood-fill with #B00D14, or the colour of your choice.

5. Skip the next layer--you can come back later and insert whatever you'd like. Click on the Front layer. Then get 05front and flood-fill with the colour you're using.

6. Click on the Front Rim layer. Get 06frontrim and flood-fill with your trim colour.

7. Click on the Bottom Rim layer. Get 07bottomrim and flood-fill with your colour.

8. Click on the Design layer and put on any tube or design you like. If you want the strawberry pattern, directions are given here.
