If you aren't familiar with using the Colour Pallette for patterns, there is a short explanation here

There is a short tutorial for the Materials Pallette in PSP 8 here.

1. Open the eurtownhousealpha.psp file you downloaded. If you think you might want to make more than one building, copy the file (SHIFT-D) and then close the original file.

2. The first layer is the Tower layer. To get the Tower selection, go to:

Selections - Load/Save Selections - Load Selection from Alpha Channel
Click on the Tower selection and click on Load
(PSP 7 - Selections - Load from Alpha Channel)

We'll be getting all the selections for the layers the same way. Then flood-fill the selection with black.

3. Facade layer - get the Facade selection and flood-fill with white or #E0B485.

4. Facade Grouting - Flood-fill with black and then lower the opacity of the layer to about 10% (or whatever looks good to you) by using the slider on the Facade Grouting layer in the Layer Pallette.

5. Swords - Flood-fill with black. Repeat twice.

6. Facade 1 - Flood-fill with #AC7000.

7. Facade 1 grouting. Flood-fill with black and lower the opacity of the layer to around 10%.

8. Facade Dressing - Flood-fill with #845F0E.

9. Coloured Stones - Flood-fill with #5A7C40 (green) or #00717B (blue).

10. Windows - Flood-fill with the same colour you used for the stones, if you want matching curtains effect, or fill with any colour you'd like better. Then go to:

19. Ledges - Flood-fill with #E2B48C and then go to:

Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel
Use the Pillow preset, changing the Ambience to 29

Use the same settings.

20. Large Doors - get the Large Door selection and then open the greendoor.psp or the bluedoor.psp you downloaded, copy (CTRL-C) and paste into the selection (SHIFT-CTRL-L). Keep selected and go to:
