As you can see from the images above, you can make several different kids of roses with this tutorial. The first image, Tole Rose, is like the kind of tole painting found on many of the older designs, with fairly distinct paint strokes. The next roses are more realistic and actually are quicker to make than the first tole image. I call this last image is the Icon rose. It is the easiest to make and would look quite nice with country designs. This tutorial was made with PSP 7, but directions for PSP 8 are given also. For this tutorial, you need to be familiar with the Colour Pallette (Materials Pallette in PSP 8) and using Layers. There is a short tutorial for using PSP 8's Materials Pallette here.
